Re-entry Permit Processing Time
I plan to apply for a Re-entry Permit to travel india for 1.5 years
. Just wondering what the current processing times are at the Nebraska Processing center. Is it better to give US home address or US Consulate (Chennai) to pick up the permit. Is it safe to leave US without the permit in hand. If the permit is not approved in 6 months is it better to visit US again within 6 months to avoid the risk of loosing the GC incase the re-entry gets denied or gets very delayed.
