Airport transit in Germany

German embassy website says that Indian passport holders who are permanent residents of US do not require airport transit visa transiting through Germany. Is that still true - I just heard today that Indians (even coming to US on a US visa too - which was the exception before) need a transit visa - but website says GC holders / US visa holders do not need one. So I am confused.

any current info is appreciated.

Thanks,

Contact the german consulate responsible for your domicile by fax/email. They usually get back to you with an official answer. Don't trust websites.
