Infopass appointment

Recently, Anybody from DC area, was able to get infopass appointment successfully?

I have been trying since last week. I tried in odd times, still I couldn't get one.

I need to plan for a trip to India soon. Before my trip, I want to get my passport stamped.

Any suggestion?

I am trying since last thursday. no luck so far.
do u have any idea when they make available the aptments?

nope, I tried odd times, but nothing works out.

looks like getting passport stamp is more difficult than gc process.

I had the same problem and ended up stamping in Norfolk. Try it out if you need get it done urgently.

Infopass sucks .....

I tried so many times today, still no luck.

Going to Norfolk is a good option, but only problem is that its around 200 miles from DC and they are not open on Saturdays. I have to take a day off to do the stamping.

Infopass was introduced to ease lives of immigrants - so that they don't need to waste time standing in line. It seems it made life worse especially if someone needs to travel 200 miles.
Many are complaining about it in I-485 forums. It seems it happening in most of the areas in USA.

anyone try the "You wish to speak to an immigration officer." option instead of 797 option. I tried going to maryland but they said VA state was not done there. Norfolk is bit far..

I received my card few days back. But my wife hasn't received her card.
How long does it take for derivative applicant to receive card? Unable to get an infopass appointment here in DC for passport stamping.

It is possible. Get one macro software. I used Macromania. run it continuosly on your PC. which will log in the info pass website and fill the form for you.
They add appointment and those appointment gets filled up in one hour. SO thats the only way I found, I can help you in setting up. PM me if needed

Once installed

Start like this:
Iexpolrer infopass.uscis.gov
Alt+F11 ( to make internet explorer full screen)
Now you capture the screen using Shift+print Screen
Paste the content to Paint
Now find out the x,y cordinate of the "Submit button"
Similarly find out the loacation of the textbox where you put zip

Once you have the cordinates
Use move mouse and key press on Macromania to create a macro
Then run this macro every 10 min

If you see the screen "No information available" that means no appointment, But If you get a page where you can filll the names etc. means the apointment is available.

Do not use macromania to close the open window

Let it run whole day whole night, But whenever you are near computer you manually close the open windows.
