Messed up on I-130 for parents
I am an US citizen and filed for my father back in Nov 2003 and just got the letter to pay visa fee. When I called the NVC to find out if I need to pay that per person (father and mother), they informed me that I must file seperately for my mother. This is a big set back as I have waited this long and thought finally they will be able to come to the US. Has anyone out there have gone through this problem and if so, is there any way to request NVC to expedite my mothers petition so she does not have to wait another year or so. I have been sending all the documents to NVC for both of my parents.
