To All Immigration Gurus...:-)
I married after GC and Its been 3 years 4 months since my green card. I've applied for my wife's I-130 and the best hope I have is to become a citizen and bring her to US. I work for a global company which can place me on a project in England and I can make a trip to US every 3 months or so for a week. What possible steps I can take to not to jeopardize my citizenship requirement. 1: Is there a waiver that INS gives for people on GC who work for global companies to work outside US?...with out jeopardizing their Continuous residency requirement. 1: Do I need to get a permission from INS before I commence work in England?. Like a Reentry Permit?. 2: Can I work for an year outside US with a trip to US every 3 months for a week. 3: Is it a good idea to keep an apartment in US?, Can I discontinue my car insurance?. I greatly appreciate and welcome all your comments. Thanks, Rama. PS:I still would be paid here in US in US $ (Direct deposted to the bank) and I intend to file my taxes.

I-131 reentry permit
I applied for I-131 before I left the country. What if it's not approved in 6 months. After it's approved if I enter US then the already approved I-131 is no good?.
Please help.......... |
