can one shift jobs as many times as wanted within an year of GC approval?

So long as the sponsoring employer laid off the employee?

If the employee was not laid off, I understand we would have to wait for an year but what if someone was laid off?

Can they then take up a job, and another in a month, and so on..? Does that mean layoff could be a blessing in disguise as well, if you dont intend to work for the sponsor?
