Will be laid off in a month, derivative still pending, please help
Hi Gurus,
My 485 was approved in Sept 2004, but spouse's 485 is still pending, even though we filed together. I am the primary applicant. I will be laid off in a month, is there any requirement on my annual income to support my spouse's pending 485? I am thinking about staying at home for a month then going back to school in January 2005, will that cause any problem for the derivative 485? Or should I find a job immediately? Thanks a lot,

When your spouse's case comes for adjudication, they are not going to check for your current employement as your case has been approved. So, dont worry about that aspect and focus on getting a new job.
