EVL-Visitor visa
I appreciate any input. Can a green card holder sponsor visitor visa with all documents except employment verification letter.

I believe that the affidavit of support (required) also requires your employment income to be documented in the form of some current certification from employer. I had filed an affidavit of support for sponsoring visitor visa while I was in H1B status, and had needed to submit this. For the self-employed, tax returns of business, or personal tax returns if DBA (Doing Business As) is required. No EVL coz no employment.
