Alien number?AP?

hi everybody,
i have some questions.I just sented my packet of documents(i-485,EAD &
i-130).Am i going to recieve A#(alien registration number)as soon as they view my documents or months later?
I would like to send Advance Parole document as soon as possible(must be out of US after 3 months) ...do i need the alien number for filling the form i-131 or i can send it right now??

Thank you...hope somebody have info for me

You can send it right now for the AP. You don't need to wait. They will assign you a Alien # in your I-485 receipt letter. If it's really urgent you can bring some proof and go to your local BCIS office and within 20 mins you can get your Advance parole. You have to take 2 copies photo and fees $165. If we talk about INS, there is no hard and first rule. Only God and BCIS officer know the best o.

Good luck with the 3 month out of the USA part. I recevied my AP last month after waiting for 6+ months.

When, where did you apply for? Give the details. I didn't receive any of my EAD or AP yet.

I saw couple of people got their EAD and AP within 50 to 55 days. Do you think they are lucky or they applied different way by lawyer?

Yes i have 3 months & i must be in out of US.I sent the docs in Dover sub office this week.As i saw info the AP is comes from 30-90days!!Did u really waited 6 months???No way...i don't have this time...

So A# is not needed to be filled!? What proof i will attached then to show that the case is in process like:

" If you are in the United States, you must attach:
A copy of any document issued to you by the CIS or former INS showing your present status in the United States;"

Most authentic proof is Medical report for whom u r going outside of usa. Rather than this, proof is very difficult. What reason r u going?

Is not medical reason. I have exams in the University i'm studing 7 i'll be going only for the exams there for a month.

But the only proof they need attached has to show my status at the moment ...something sent by INS office???? like what??The other mentioned requirement is a reason to go...that's fine

I had petitioned for an advance parole this month and received a receipt notice of October18, while reading the posts today I realized that that I had forgotten to attach 2 photographs as a pre-req for the petition. I will be sending a new mail along with the photogrpahs, photocopies of the receipt, petition and my original letter of intent. Do any of you folks think I should be doing anything else? Please advise
