H4 to H1B Time Taken
Hello,
I am currently on H-4 status staying in USA. If I get a job how much time would it take me to convert my H-4 status to H1B. I worked in US on H1B a year ago. Will my case be counted towards new quota? Thanks and Regards, RPJ

Depends on the service center you are filing your H1B at.
You will get an idea from the processing times posted for that particular service center. If you file under premium processing, then your case will be adjudicated within 2 weeks. This may mean anything - approval/RFE/denial. Since you were on H1B earlier, you will not be counted against the quota.
