Pay Stubs and AOS Interview

We have our interview on the 30th of this month. One of the things we need to bring along are my last 3 pay check stubs. I travel often for work and my expenses are included in my weekly pay checks. However, last weeks pay check had a mistake work paid me an extra expense. So, for the next 2 pay (1 I will not get and the other only alittle)checks will be next to nothing on them. Will this be an issue during the interview? Will they take my word for it when I explain the mistake or should I get my employer to write a letter regarding this? Thanks again for the help!

That's the reason they ask for paystubs. Doesn't it say, how much was your pay, how much were expenses, taxes etc? Regardless of the net money paid?

If you are still worried, bring more than 3 last paystubs. Bring all the paystubs for the past 3 months or so.

In addition, you could ask for a simple letter on a company's letterhead stating your employment and compensation.

your stubs show your year to date income, if that is ok, you should not be worried on how much you got. Good luck.

I'd get a statement from your accounting department explaining the error and how it would be resolved. You probably should get that anyway since deductions from paychecks are limited by law. The company should clearly explain the amount of the error and how it would be recovered.
