two H1 petitions at the same time?

Hi all,
My cousin's employer in India is about file H1 petition with vermont service center. I got another offer from US and they are also going to file a H1 petition with vermont service center. Is it okay if I have more than one H1 petition at the same Service center at the same time? What are the chances of rejection based on multiple petitions?

Also, will INS inform my current employer that they have another petition with them for my H1?

Also, does anyone if I have to give copies of all the pages of passport? If I have F1 rejection stamps from about 7 years back, does it matter now?

Thanks for any input.
