H4 Stamping
Hello Gurus,
Please advice on the following issues 1. My sons and husbands h4 revalidation visas have been approved. My h1 revalidation approval has not been sent to me yet. How long does it usually take for the approval to come through ? 2. Can my husband and son get their H4 visa stamped in the passport since they are in india even before my h1 visa approval comes through ? 3. How long does it take for me to get an appointment in the chennai consulate for approval ???? Thanks

It is better for your family to go for H4 stamping AFTER you receive your H1B approval notice.
To be on the safe side, you will have to mail a copy (Original is always preferred but you have to be extremely careful) of your new H1B to your family so that they can take it to the Consulate when they go for their H4 stamping.
