Question ? on AR-11, Max stay outside US on GC

Hello.

Two questions for the experts:

1. What is the maximum stay allowed outside US (say on vacation) without jeopardising PR status?

2. If my spouse is returning to US later than me, and I am moving meanwhile, is it ok to file form AR-11 separately or should it be filed jointly?

Thak you very much.

Ans 1. 1 year
Ans 2. You file AR-1 whenever YOU move. Your spouse files AR-11 when SHE moves. It does not depend on when you or your spouse takes vacation or return to US.

less than 6 months without Reentry permit

I think the answer to Q 1 is less than 1 year without Reentry permit
If you have reentry permit you can stay upto 2 years without loosing GC
