I-551 stamping at the airport ?
My wife will be arriving in US on a valid Adv. parole. Her 485 case was approved when she was abroad. Can she get her passport stamped(I-551) at the port of entry on her arrival in US ?
This would save her the trouble of lining up in the wee hours at a local INS office. I know that she cannot get this stamping at a US consulate in a foreign country. Your valuable Inputs are solicited.

deferred inspection
If they find out that her GC is approved, she will egt a deffered inspection. This means she needs to go to an INS office in next couple of weeks (or so). In ohter words, no stamping at the airport.
