Can I buy a small business while on H1b
Hey all, I am currently on H1b status and wish to buy a small business like a grocery store and/or a gas station. I will be investing and would hire someone to run the store. I want to find from this forum if I can do that, first of all, secondly what kind of corporation I need to form. Does any one has any experience which they could possibly share? Thanks a lot!!

As far as I think this is not practically possible.
You d find it much easier to find a citizen friend and pay them appro for the use of name. But trust is a real issue there.

would it still be an issue, if have an EAD card??
Thanks TigerL, But would it still be an issue, if have an EAD card. My GC is in process and I will apply for my EAD soon. Thanks for your input
