Hi All,

I have seen many posts asking abt starting a business and the poster's visa status. Let us take one step back. Let us assume for a moment that we have the requisite idea for the business. So for example let us assume we have the necessary business contacts and we want to start a IT consulting company. How do we go abt it in an effective and cost efficient way. Is starting a business as an S-Corp better than starting an LLC ? What is the best way to incorporate the same. Secondly is there an online site which provides the cheapest way to incorporating a business.

Posts on this topic would be sincerely appreciated. Once we get the basics right we can all build on this effective foundation with differing ideas. So the mantra I chant right from start is "Effectiveness and Cost Efficiency". After all this is the logical first step to guard against failure.
