Greencard and Marriage
Hi ,
I am new over here. I just found out that if you have a greencard and you are marrying a foreign citizen, the process can take years. I want to find out how others in my situations dealt or not dealt with this before ? I think this is a very silly rule given that pre-greencard folks can easily bring a spouse. I can think of the following options: 1. Education F1 route. 2. What happens if the soon to be spouse travels on a tourist visa and you get married in the US ? Thanks.
