Las Vegas office

I went with my wife today to the Las Vegas office to get a stutus on her I 485 and her work card.
We got there at 5.30am the doors open at 7:30. We brought all the old paper work and here is what they said. My wifes GC is still pending, we filed Nov 2002, the agent said 3 or 4 more months before an interview, Las Vegas is the slowest according to the agent, most take 20 to 24 months for the letter. I asked about only getting a register receipt she replied its a legal document dont loose it. The next point was why the delay in her work card, she is over the 90 days of filing, she told us if she is lucky it might arrive in OCT and to come back next week to get a temp, again a register receipt only. The point of the delay is that I E-filed, the E file goes to Chicago and has to be sent back to Las Vegas, she told me "everything needed is on the shelf here in LasVegas for you, dont E-file anything" was here advice.
As for getting Temp work cards in Las Vegas they did over 75 in the hour we waited to see a agent, separate line and number called just for work cards.
For Las Vegas people .....JUST WAIT...
Gus
