Self employment on F1 OPT

Hello,
I'm on student visa and soon I'll receive my OPT. On OPT can I form a company and work as an employee for the new company. I believe I can form one but not sure if I can work for the same?

Thanks ****!
Now if I want to sponsor my H1 with this newly formed company, any suggestions for convincing BCIS that company is genuine and is able to afford the new hire. Also, can my wife (on F2) sign on the company documents(contracts, checks...etc..), as an officer of the company? I understand she can't work and won't draw any salary.
Thanks again for the prompt reply!
