Question to Everyone
Hello everyone.
I have an interesting question? Do we need to (or Can we) revalidate the I-551 stamp in passport after it has expired even though we have got the Plastic Card? If this is possible, it could be a safer option while travelling out of the country as the stamp could be used in the unfortunate situation of losing the plastic card.

If you have received plastic GC then there is no need to revalidate the I-551 stamp. It is generally recommended to make a photocopy of the plastic gc and i-551 stamp and keep in a place different from where you keep the original for situations where originals are misplaced/ lost/ stolen.
