leaving employer after 5 months

Hi ****,
My green card is approved about 5 months ago July 20th. Boss is a big politician and creating lots of difficulties to me. Partialitism, negligence, false critisim are becoming more even though my performance is excellent. I even tried to talk and work it out, but no resolution.

Would you please advice, whether can leave this employer in these situations? If I leave does my boss create any problems with my gc since it is only 5 months after approval.

Thanks for the quick reply. I do have the excellent performace review documents with proper signatures. Also I sent lot of email trails in order to resolve the issues. I made printouts of those as well. I do have the good intent and faith to continue to work indefinitely. I even asked them to transfer me to other department so that I will continue working there(emails printouts). I am not currently looking for the jobs, it might take another few months to get another job(not sure how many months it takes also) if i start look for jobs after quiting.

I am also thinking to consult attorney on this. Your suggestion is to start looking for jobs after 6 months?

I quit my employer after about 5 months from getting my CP approval. Now, my employer does not have any issues with that as I joined their joint venture company. Do you have any idea how will this impact ?
