Army reserves

hi
I just got my green card and am planning to apply to the Army reserves. Does being in the Army reserve lower the citizenship requirement from 5 to 3 years?
thanks

Presidential executive order

After the 1st Gulf war the president of united states signed an executive order that allows all army personal that were sent to the war to apply for naturalization.
However supreme court ruled that the order can not be limited to just a section of army, (the argument being Active army people don't have control over where they are posted) so it was changed to all armed forces personal that were "Active" during the executive order time frame.
recently President Bush signed another order that allowed all
armed forces personal "active" during Iraq war to be eligible for naturalization. Note just active is enough, whether you are actually posted in Iraq or not.

Just being in the reserve will not effect anything, but if You are called for active duty right now ( before the executive order timeframe expires) You will be eligible for naturalization
