Naturalization continuity

Hi All,
I am permenant resident of US. When I came
to US on immigration in May 1998, I was studying in
INDIA. After I received Green Card, I filled out
form "Application for Travel Document(I-131)" to
travel back to INDIA and complete my graduation. I
went back to INDIA in July 1998. I came back in
April 2000 (Stayed almost for 24 months in INDIA).
After I came back to US, I stayed in US for one
and a half year and went back to INDIA in November
2001 and stayed there for 4 Months. Now it has been
more than five years since I received my green
card.
I would like to know that is it considered as a
continuation of naturalization? Am I eligible to
apply for Citizenship?
If not when exactly she can apply for her citizenship?
I browsed immigration website and talekd with INS guys. They say that 24 months visit to INDIA is not considered as a continuation of Naturalization.
As I browsed the website, I found that you shuld have Green Card for five or more years and you should have stayed in US for atleaet half of the time in US during those five years to apply for citizenship.
I meet above two criteria. But how about those four mkonths travel to INDIA?
Please guide me if anybody knows about that....
I Thank you very much in advance.

if you stay outside USA for more than 1 year,
your accumulated time toward citizenship
eligibility is reset to zero.
