Naturalization while on Active Mil Service OVerseas

Being overseas on active military service shouldn't count against the time required to be present in the US for Naturalization right? I understand servicemen with GC on active duty can apply for instant naturalization without having to wait 5yrs ( I've already waited 2yrs).
In case I get an overseas deployment order where would I file my N400 and where would I take the naturalization oath after the approval?

There was a thread way back. A netter asked this question
to his JAG, who said military trip overseas is not considered
overseas absences.
