Medical Insurance while on I-130

Insurance for parents
I just wanted to find out from you guys how you manage medical insurance for parents while their GC is being processed. Since through TSC it will most likely take a few years, do you take insurance from the native country or from the US ? If you get it from the native county, can you keep extending the insurance coverage until GC gets processed ?

Also, what is the average wait time for I-130 in TSC for parents ? Is it more than 2 years ?

Thanks,

Are your parents in the US?? If so you should have filed the I130 and I485 at the local district office instead of the TSC.

Your parents could renew their original insurance policy they purchased from India or you could add them to your insurance plan or maybe get them Blue Cross Blue Shield coverage (not sure if BCBS works without a SSN).
