Divorce after getting Green card
My husband and I got divorce last year. Now I am getting ready to apply for my citizen ship. I got my green card thru my ex-husband on employment catg. I was dependant at that time. He is threatening me to leave the country for the last 6 months. He said he will report to INS to cancel my green card. At this time, is it safe to apply for my citizen ship. Is there any problem in applying for N-400.I have nearly (total) 1 year of abroad travel during my last 5 years with GC.. Gurus, please advice.
