Thread: Greenland Summary Report

    Greenland Summary Report

    A. Overall Goal of this thread:
To produce a Summary Greenland report once a week for the following LIN number ranges. The report will have stats and graphs so that we can judge some trends:
    LIN02-075-5####
    LIN02-100-5####
    LIN02-125-5####
    LIN02-150-5####
    LIN02-175-5####
    LIN02-200-5####

    B. Purposes of this individual post:
To solicit help from you guys so that I can overcome the 1000 per day limit and produce the report sooner.

If you can help and know how to use the Greenland script, then do the following:

For each LIN02-xxx above, volunteer to scan one of the ranges of LIN numbers by posting a message in this thread, claiming a LIN02xxx and one of the following ranges:
    50000 to 50999
    51000 to 51999
    52000 to 52999
    53000 to 53999
    54000 to 54999
    55000 to 55999
    56000 to 56999
    57000 to 57999
I don't think there will be more than 56000, but we need to check.

Please note that I already have LIN02-100-##### populated.

Once you have scanned your range, post it here (Excel file)

I will then collect all the results and post the summary as soon as I have a comprehensive list.

Neat idea, we need many dedicated

individuals to do this on a weekly basis(350-400 maximum per day scan limit), which I doubt can happen that easily. But this is a great idea. In a worst case even a partial post can tell us some trend...
    Keep up the good work.

FunkyJunky: Do you think it will be helpful if you include a percentage of approved and initially-adjudicated cases like the one I have done here?

    Summary post

    Great Work Chao Chao,

I have posted an updated summary report which includes your numbers. As you can see, I still have "holes" for 125 and 175 days.

I got kicked off the server today for too many queries, so I will have to continue tomorrow.

    Thanks

    Hi,
In the stats sheet, the dates in row 4 show years as 01 in column E, 02 in column F, 04 in column H.
What does this mean? Were these scans conducted on these dates? or is this the ND with wrong year?

    Thanks.

    Nice catch, kjkool

You have a point (I made an error by dragging Excel cells - Excel incremented them and I didn't notice)

I have repaired this in my template

    Dear Funky Junky,

Please run a report for the lin numbers
    LIN 02 060 xxxxx
    LIN 02 058 xxxxx

    This is Dec 01 case.

    Kindly revert.

    Thanks

I can only run 1000 LIN #'s per day and I still have another 3 categories to run through. At 6 runs per day with 3 catagories, it means that I will only get to that in 18 days or so.

Send me your email address and I will send you a file you can run on your own. I will help you set it up and then maybe you can provide the Summary Report with feedback.

    Thanks

    Thanks

Please send the file to kals294@yahoo.com

Also please let me know if BCIS can find about running the report.

    Keep up the good work.

    Summary Update

Ok Guys, here is an update.

You will notice that a lot of the numbers are old. The reason is that I am still populating numbers and not scanning new ones yet.

Thanks Pork Chop for the updated numbers. They are in the report.

ChaoChao, I have your numbers that you sent. I haven't been able to run them yet (1000 limit).

    Thanks for the help guys.

thanks for the summary report. like i said, it is really cool.

btw, just one correction: the ND for LIN 02-119 in your summary report is mentioned as Feb 22, 02. it should be Feb 25, 02.

    thanks!

    02-098

FunckyJuncky, here is my 02-098 run. The case number only goes up to 55000. I spot check a few case number after that, they are all not existed. So I think they only received less than 5000 cases that day. I will run the update once a week and send the result to you. Now I am available to run some of yours so just let me know which date you want me to help with. It might take a while but I'll get it done. Thanks.

    Funky Junky,

    Thank you for the updates.

    I ran the script for ND170, 180, and 190 on Sep 6.
The dates for these NDs are Apr 26, May 8, and May 20.
I don't think I will check these dates periodically at least for now since there aren't many activities going on there.

The last summary post for ND130, 140, 150, and 160 were based on the result of run made on Sep 4. These are dates March 11, March 22, Apr 3, and Apr 15.

btw, can you set up an email account so that people can send result xls files to update summary report?

    Summary Update

Another incremental update. Thanks chao , Pork and wandergirlus for the input.

Pork - I put together an Excel spreadsheet trying to calculate the LIN#'s vs. the RD but it seems that I don't have all the BCIS "down" days listed, so my estimate is off.

    Summary Update

    Ran an update for LIN-140.

I am having trouble getting a complete list for LIN-089 (I only have 63 valid numbers). Can anybody out there check and see if this is in fact a complete list? If you can help, please post a list of valid LIN numbers (for I485) here.

    Thanks

PS. I fixed up some formula bugs I found in the previous summary report.

Updated a range of days. As expected, there is a lot more activity on the lower LIN's than the later ones.
