Approx. time to receive physical card?

We completed our stamping in Boston on April 25th. We were told that we should get the card in the mail in a year's time but others have told me that the time is a couple of months. Can someone give me a better idea on when we should receive the card and if there is a way to keep track of it?

I got my GC stamped from Indianapolis on April 29th,2003 and got my actual GC on May 27th,2003. It takes around weeks to months.
