    Is my PR still valid?

    Hello,
I got the PR in February 2002. Landed in canada that month itself. We stayed in canada for 3 weeks and went back to India. But did not return to Canada after six months. Is my PR still valid? if it is cancelled, Does anyone know what steps I have to take so that my PR is still valid. Currently I am in India.

    Thank you,
    Shirni

Your PR is Valid, you can come to Canada any time before Feb 2005 becase in FAB 2005you will compleate 3 years from landing date and you can also recapture the time spent in Canada if you have proof of stay.
you can be out of Canada for 3 years in any 5 years from date of landing.
if you plan to reach after 31 december 2003 you need PR CARD

NO Jobs in Canada at this time only labour job is available you can get 7-8 $ per hour after networking with others.
