marriage of GC holder and student visa holder

Hello,

I have a few questions to the experts out there. If a GC holder is to marry a student visa holder, does the student visa holder's status change post marriage ? In this case both received their respective immigration status independent of each other (i.e. before they met). Can the student visa holder keep the student visa post marriage? Can this person visit the birth country for summers without any problems due to the marriage ? I would really appretiate any insights.

Take the following case

The student is on a student visa.

The student gets married to a green card holder

They file I-130 and I-485.

Can the I-130 and I-485 be filed simultaneously ?

The student is currently maintaining legal status, How long does the student have to maintain legal status ? till the filing of I-485 or till the receipt of Green Card ?
