Hello Friends,

Everything as simple as described by the previous guys. Thanks Immigration Portal.

Got a Boston Mumbai ticket in Northwest at 939 dollar.

Lilavati is excelent for Medical.

Stayed in Hotel Royal castle near Consulate.

Interview process is simple. No question asked.

POE is also very smooth.

I welcome any question you guys might have.

Congratulation destMumbai!!! Just few beaten up questions –

1. Did you carry the sailing permit and local PCC?
2. Did you carry any immunization records? If you don’t have any records, do you have to take all shots or do they only administer vaccines which are necessary after your blood test results?
3. If I want to get the immunization record and get some shots in US, will I have to go to INS certified doctors or my primary physician will be fine?
4. What documents did they specifically ask for?

can you tell me little bit about hotel royal castle, the rates, the distance from consulate, if advance booking required, the cleanliness, and the kind of people operating hotel ( i.e. professionalism )

BSoni,

Royal Castle is a small hotel with personal service. Call them in advance. They have room for Rs 1000 & Rs 1500. Take the 1500 one.
If you tell them in advance they will send you Taxi/Jeep at airport with one person. I had done the same because we had lot of suitcases. They came did all loading etc. & then you need not to search the hotel in night time. The charge for taxi is very reasonable. Just give 20-50 rupee tips to staff & they will be very happy.
Again it's a small but clean hotel. Now he knows me very well.
