Do the embassy take these documents and keep them or we can give them a copy of them with original for verification, then they will give us back the original documents, as I have a couple of documents which I can't get a replacement for.
Whoever did the interview help me on this please.
Original documents belong to you and it is wrong for any one to possess them in perpetuity unless with your consent. Am surprised that the embassy remained with some one's birth certs. That is irregular. They can remain with your fingure prints and police cert. That is ok. But not your personal documents like birth certs and school certs.
