    US citizenship name change

    Hello!
When I applied for the US citizenship I requested my name changed. I've been approved back in may 2012 but hasn't gotten my certificate of citizenship yet because, according to the people at the immigration office, now the court has to approve my name change. It's been 3 months already. How much longer do I have to wait? And is there any way to speed it up or find out which court my application is sitting at so I can find out what the holdup is?
Application was filed in the state of Virginia

Judge approves your name change during the oath ceremony in court. If the ceremony is held once a month, and have 100 seats available, while there are 500 people in the line... You got the idea.
On a bright side, you don't have to pay $x00 for the name change, unlike regular citizens.
