    GC parents - filing next year's tax returns

    My parents just got a green card. Can/Should i claim them on next year's tax returns? What are pros/cons or other people's experience?

    This is a tax, not immigration, question. However, if you meet the criteria of claiming them as your financial depedents, then please do so.
