What if someone does not send the forms to KCC???

    CN : 2013AS00004***
    Entry Dated :20th Oct 2011
    1st NL Received :5th June 2012
Sent Forms to KCC : 12th June 2012
    DHL Confirm delivery : 16th June 2011
    2nd NL :
    PCC :
    Medicals :
    Interview :

    Hi friends,
I hope everyone is fine and doing well. Here goes the list of questions!

Q1) What will happen if a person is selected for the dv, but he/she does not send his/her forms and photographs to KCC? Or if he/she sends them late? Will such a person's case become current, and will he/she be interviewed?

Q2) The result of DV-2013 was announced on May 1, 2012. I was too late to check it. I checked my name on 5th June, and sent the forms on 12th. The courier service confirmed the delivery on 16th june. I have a low case number and I could be current in october, based on DV-2012 bulletin. Would sending of my forms late affect the chance of my case becoming current in october?

    Looking forward to your replies.

    Thanks in advance!

By not submitting the form means no visa interview will be scheduled for you. Your case number being current does not mean that you will automatically have your interview in that month, it will be determine by the time you sent the forms.
Sending the forms late will not affect your chances of getting the visa, but rather your interview date may be fixed after the month you're current.

In my question 2, I gave you the dates. It is still more than two months left till 1st october, do you think my case would be processed and my interview scheduled in october? Is has been five weeks since the courier service confirmed the delivery!

    Thanks!

Its still way too early dont worry. You are a DV2013 winner and you have a low case number. In theory you have all the way to Sep 30, 2013 to get your papers and have your interview.

But since you are a low case number then you maybe current in October or November 2012. So all you have to do now is get your medical and also all the documents ready. Usually the interview is schduled a month before it is due and it depends about each consulate and embassy how busy they are also.

You have time just get your documents ready
