Re-Entry Permit and Name Change

Hi All:

I am on a Re-Entry Permit (valid for 2 year). I got married abroad and changed my name (took my husband's name). I now need to change the name in my passpart to reflect my new name.

Would there be a problem when I travel back to the US if the re-entry permit and my green card show old name different from the name in my passport?

I read online that I can change the name in my green card by applying and taking biometrics again but I cannot find any info on how I can change a name on a re-entry permit. Does anyone know?

You don't need to change the reentry permit. Just carry your marriage certificate with it.
