    Do they take pictures during the FP appointment?

    I am a bit confused about this..

    Some people say they got their pictures taken while others say they did not had their pictures taken...

    Can someone please explain??

    Maybe it depends from DO to DO. My DO is Chicago and I had my picture taken.
    7/9/12 : sent I 130
    7/11/12 : NoA sent and applications routed to CSC
    9/17/12. : I 130 approved for both parents
    10/02/12 : Recd email from NVC for AoS fee and DS 3032
    10/19/12 : Sent I 864 & 864a via UPS; mailed DS 3032
    01/16/13 : Sent DS 230 via UPS
    01/28/13: RFE for father's BC
    02/07/13: Responded to RFE
    02/26/13: Case complete,waiting to schedule interview !
    03/07/13: Interview scheduled for April 10th ))))
    04/10/13: Visa Granted !

    Why does it matter? Just go expecting to have your picture taken.

    BIOMETRICS = Fingerprints, Photo, and Signature (at this point in time)

    ASC = Application Support Center

    The primary function of an ASC is to collect biometrics.

    Yes (Baltimore DO)

    Yes. I had my picture, and signature, taken - and those were the ones used on the Naturalization certificate (not the ones I sent with the N-400 form).
