    TN1 to L1

    I am working for a major US consulting company which has offices in USA and Canada. My TN1 will expire in August as I will complete one year with them. Can I go for L1 visa?

    No. L1 is for those who have FIRST worked outside US for a company, and THEN get transferred to US for a related comapny.

    Working in US never qualifies you for L1.
