H4 Stamping for family

Hi,

Today, my wife and son went to US visa H4 stamping and my son passport got stamped. US consulate people told that my wife passport is damaged and they told to get the new passport. They have given blue form mentioned that passport is damaged and said after getting the new passport we need to submit in VFS. Can anyone tell me how much time it will take to get stamped after submitting the new passport to VFS.

Which country you belong to, depends on its consulate. If the consular officer puts your case on hold under Section 221(g), it means your visa application was not complete or requires further administrative action. Processing times are different for every applicant.
