H4 to F1

Hi guys,

Thnks for all the replies before..

Right now I am on H4 living in Michigan,USA and thinking of going on F1 next month. My question is if my F1 gets rejected than will my H4 be valid or I have to file again for H4?? My h4 is till dec 2013.

hi,
I have applied for change of status from H4 to F1, California Service center. My process is still in Initial review even after 3 months. Initially my application was rejected on June 10th because of incorrect fees. Later i sent a check with correct fees and application was accepted. My status changed from Acceptance to Initial review on June 20th. My semester starts from Aug 22nd, So need to get the COS ASAP in 10/15days for me to get a scholarship. How long will it take? Has anybody done COS from H4 to F1 recently? Please reply
