H4 probelm urgent please

Hi, my h4 expired almost 4 months back. I checked 2 weeks back. I approched my husband company attorny..
Is it Ok or need to approch pther lawyer? Please suggest me and tell me the fee for H4 process now...

Yes, you may apply for extension of stay on H-4 visa. H4 extension may be granted as long as the principal H visa holder maintains status.

Note: Your status depends on the status of principal H visa status. You lose your H-4 status once the principal H visa holder loses status.

------ Do you mean Visa stamp expired or I-94 also expired? if your I-94 is expired then you are NOT on H4 status at this time. You can file H4 extension through your spouse Company lawyer or any good lawyer. USCIS can also reject H4 extension as you are not on H4 valid status. Take help of good lawyer so that lawyer can explain on cover letter that it is innocent mistake not to file H4 extension before the I-94 Expiry date.
