O1 Visa to Green Card

I'm interior designer and have an O1 visa through US agent.

Can I apply for O1 visa through same agent ( not employer ) and will my application will go as EB1 category?

any help is greatly appreciated.

Since O-1 is an extraordinary ability visa, you will probably file in either EB1 or EB2 categories. O-1 is the employer's petition, not yours. So you do need to have an employer. However, if you can prove that your field is traditionally self-employed, then you can have a US agent.
