H-1B starting business

Hi Everybody,

I have a question about running business while being on H-1B visa. I know it is not legal to employed under a company other then the one holding the visa, but would it be legal to be the owner? These are some questions that I want to be clear about:
1) Is it legal to own a business, get revenue and pay salary to somebody?
2) Is it legal to own a business which does not get any revenue?
3) Is it legal just to register the name of the business?

I wish I knew all the answers to these Q. I have the same questions too, but I know this for sure that it is absolutely legal to own business in your name, roll money and pay someone who has a SSN, and is working for you.. you can do it while on H-1B
