Hello All,
I have got the full time job approval from one large corporation. I gave interview and they selected me but I am still in the school, I haven't been graduated. My manager of team was telling me that I cannot work until I become graduate or I provide proof of completion of thesis and courses. I am done with courses but I have to write thesis and present it. It can take two months to do that and manager is ready to give me some time to finish it.
Regarding to above problem I went to International Student Center(ISC) of my school and I explained everything. At my school, I can get graduate certificate only in May for Spring semester but I can get proof of completion of course work and thesis in March up on completion. So at ISC my advisor told me that I am able to apply for Post OPT. Is it true?? Because on USCIS(Google Search: USCIS Post OPT) it says, "An F-1 student may be authorized to participate in post-completion OPT upon completion of studies"
Other thing, if I apply for Pre OPT right now and I am going to be graduate on this May 2011 so I will need to apply for Post-OPT in Feb. So during Feb to March End they need to proceed both OPT on the same name. So is this possible that when Pre-OPT in process then I can also apply for Post-OPT??
Thank you. Sorry about writing big paragraph but its so much complicated situation.
