    HDFC bank jurisdiction

    Hello,

I am aware that visa fees have to be paid at a designated HDFC bank. My question is:
Can it be a designated HDFC bank at any location or does it need to be the same jurisdiction as the consulate. For ex: if my father is applying from Delhi, can he pay the fees at a designated calcutta HDFC bank?

I have heard conflicting views hence need a clarification.

    Thanks and appreciate your help

You should not do that. Get it from the same consular jurisdiction.
