H1B Extension Denied, 485 AOS Pending

I have a unique situation, please help \.

I have applied for AOS (Received date: August 17, 2007) and I am working on EAD with AP, while AOS pending. I see that my old pending H1 (Received date: July 27, 2007) is rejected on 20 mar 2009.

I am in a fix now and not sure what my course of action is.

- Do I file MTR (Motion to Reopen), I have to ask my previous employer to do that.
- Stay quiet as I am already on pending AOS, would this have a great impact on my processing ?
