    Visiting USA and returning to Canada without PR Card

    I will be Landing in Canada from Malaysia sometime April this year but I will not be staying in Canada but instead, after all the PR landing process, I plan to visit USA crossing border with my rented car from Canada.

    Will I face any difficulty in crossing USA border (with US Visa) and returning to Canada 2-3 days later?

    Is it true that I can't use any commercial transportation to travel to US/Canada?

    You will not be allowed on any commercial transport without the PR card.

    i agree with you, PR card is a must in order for you to enter Canada.
