    H1-B permium processing

    I have an OPT and would like to apply for a H1-B visa. My question is can I do a premium processing of my H1-B if I'm applying for the first time after my OPT ? I have a Masters Degree in US

    Why apply for premium processing?

    Even if it gets approved in two weeks, it doesn't kick in until October 1.

    H1B transfer receipt ???

    I have a H1 with company A. Company B filed for my transfer on 27th Jul 2007. I received a e-mail from them saying that the petetion has been filed with a USCIS service center and that I can expect the receipt in 2-3 weeks. I have to join ompany B on 6th Aug 2007. Can I start working for company B without the receipt from USCIS?
    Will there be any problem is company A cancels my H1 after 27th July and before I receive the receiipt ?
    Please help !!!!
