Is there any Asylee, Asylum Seeker from Africa, specially Southern African countries namely Angola, D.R.C, Congo Brazzaville, Namibia, South Africa etc etc.?
I would like to learn and share some information pertaining asylum cases experiences including trips out of country and possible COP before and after obtaining a GC from asylum.
I have read many topics regarding the asylee GC, however, seems like the asylee GC is not as great as an ordinary GC card Like GC through marriage, employment or even DV. Therefore I would like to hear from fellow African’s about their experience regarding this topic and when you reply please state the country in case.
If one obtains a GC from asylum can one travel freely and without any worries to the COP including obtaining a NP? Would your answer differ if one obtains a GC and the COP situation changed? What are the consequences to an PR with GC from asylum, however, the COP conditions changed?
Let say one seek and was granted asylum based on the grounds of persecution from the current government like the current government in D.R.C, Ivory Coast, Zimbabwe, if after election those government cease to win or exist could one freely apply an NP and travel to COP with the GC?
